A house full of drywall dust does not need a bigger version of a normal clean. It needs a different method, and the reason is particle size.
Drywall dust is gypsum ground to a powder far finer than household dust. It stays suspended in the air for hours after the work stops, then settles onto every surface including the ones nobody thinks about, like the top edge of a door, the inside of a light fixture, and the return air vent. Wipe it with a dry cloth and you put most of it back into the air, where it lands again somewhere else. That is the loop people get stuck in.
The method that works is vacuuming with real filtration before anything gets wiped, top to bottom so gravity works in your favor, then repeat passes on subsequent days as the remaining airborne load settles. A single visit on the day the contractor leaves will look finished that afternoon and disappointing the next morning. Anyone promising a one pass result on a full remodel has not done many of them.
